Nicole Murray

Nicole Murray, holds an MBA and Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) designation and has more than 15 years of experience in human resources, operations, management, and executive leadership in non-profit, for profit and government entities.

After spending several years raising her 2 children and pursuing education, Nicole earned an Executive MBA and BS in Business Management. Nicole moved to the Reno / Carson City area from Boise, Idaho to accept an executive leadership position with the State of Nevada Housing Division.  This was a perfect opportunity for Nicole to focus her efforts on important initiatives such as providing safe and decent housing options for Nevada’s underserved populations including families and veterans.  Following her desire to continue to help others realize their potential, Nicole decided to return to a career in human resources. Thus, Nicole accepted the position of Vice President with Greater Nevada Credit Union.  This allowed her the chance to focus on employee engagement and relations, environment and culture, learning and development, as well as benefits and wellbeing for a $1 billion company.  This garnered her the opportunity to lead the efforts for Greater Nevada to earn the prestigious title of Best Places to Work in both 2016 and 2017.

Nicole enjoys being involved in the local community. She accomplishes this by sharing her knowledge and expertise while serving on boards for Emerge Nevada and Crisis Support Services of Nevada.    Nicole is an avid dog lover who is blessed with Lola and Pepper.  When not in the office you can find her spending time with her family, friends, and dogs at her lakeside cabin located in the beautiful Plumas National Forest of Northern California.
